Angela Bruce IODE Memorial Award for Indigenous Learners
The Angela Bruce Chapter IODE Memorial Award for Indigenous Learners will support one (1) award based on the criteria listed below:
- Open to both international and domestic students
- Available to students who are enrolled as full-time or part-time as defined by Sheridan College.
- Student must self-identify as Indigenous and be registered with the Centre for Indigenous Learning and Services (CILS).
- Must demonstrat financial need
- Must maintain minimum GPA of 2.0 for a diploma program or 2.5 for a degree program
Note Sheridan definitions:
Full-time is defined as taking a minimum of a 70% credits or 66 2/3% of the courses required for the program of instruction in a given term or reporting period. Taking a minimum of a 40% course or credit load for students with a registered permanent, persistent or prolonged disability.
Part-time is defined as enrolment below the full-time definition.
