Dillon Phantharangsy Memorial Bursary
The Dillon Phantharangsy Bursary was created in memory of a Sheridan Honours Bachelor of Photography graduate and was established by his friends. Dillon saw the good in all people and brought out the best in others. Dillon approached life with fearless enthusiasm and sought to express himself truly and wholeheartedly as a person. He did this not only in his own life but through his passion for photography and the arts.
This bursary was created to support a student with the same conviction as Dillon pursue the arts, live out their dreams, and positively impact others through this artistic medium.
The Dillon Phantharangsy Memorial Bursary will provide one (1) bursary in the amount of $1,095.00 to a student who meets the following criteria:
- Open to both domestic and international students
- Enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Photography program
- Minimum cumulative gpa of 2.5
- Must demonstrate financial need
- Demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities either on or off campus in an unpaid capacity (i.e. clubs, sports, volunteer activities etc.) within the last 2 years.
- Clearly describe why they are passionate about photography in a short essay.
