Gunn Hill Wind Farm Educational Bursaries

The Gunn’s Hill Limited Partnership is now accepting applications for the 2021 Gunn’s Hill Wind Farm Educational Bursaries. There are two bursaries available as a result of the development and operation of the Gunn’s Hill Wind Farm: the Gunn’s Hill Wind Farm Educational Bursary for Indigenous Students, and the Gunn’s Hill Wind Farm Educational Bursary for Members of the Six Nations of the Grand River. Up to $4,000 is available through each bursary and applications are welcomed until August 16, 2024.

Application Criteria for the GHWF Bursary for Indigenous Students:

• 1) Indigenous person living in Ontario
• 2) Registered in post-secondary education or job training that is related to
  renewable energy or related field (submit program details and proof of
  registration).
• 3) Completed Application Form
• 4) Submit a short essay (1-2 pages) explaining how your education or
  training can be applied to the renewable energy industry and how this
  bursary will be applied to that education, including a brief summary of the
  costs to be covered by this bursary.

Application Criteria for the GHWF Bursary for Members of the Six Nations:

• 1) Member of the Six Nations of the Grand River (submit proof of affiliation)
• 2) Registered in post-secondary education or job training that is related to
  renewable energy or related field (submit program details and proof of
  registration).
• 3) Completed Application Form
• 4) Submit a short essay (1-2 pages) explaining how your education or
  training can be applied to the renewable energy industry and how this
  bursary will be applied to that education, including a brief summary of the
  costs to be covered by this bursary.
