Ontario Athletic Therapist Association (OATA)

The Ontario Athletic Therapist Association (OATA) is a professional association that governs the practice of all Certified Athletic Therapists in the province of Ontario and represents the profession to the public, governments, third party insurers and other stakeholders. As an independently incorporated, not-for-profit organization, the OATA works with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association as a recognized chapter to further advance the profession. The OATA represents & provides leadership and support to over 1,000 Athletic Therapists across Ontario and endeavors to ensure that its members offer safe and effective treatment to all their clients & patients.
