Laura J. Lee Memorial Bursary
Laura graduated from Sheridan College’s Trafalgar Campus in 2006 with her Honours Social Service Worker – Gerontology diploma.
Her physical challenges, resulting from Charcot Marie Tooth disease, a degenerative neuro-muscular condition, prevented her from pursuing a traditional career in her field.
However, she was active, living her life in different ways. Laura was a Reiki Master, a Life Coach, a volunteer and was working on her Masters of Metaphysical Science.
Laura struggled with chronic pain and progressive mobility challenges, as a result,
she wrote and spoke to the public about pain management and of course, accessibility issues.
Laura has been in your shoes and we know she would be so pleased to help you pursuing your goals.
Wishing you good humour, strength and peace.
