CRH Canada Bridge Scholarship program 2024

In partnership with Universities Canada, we are pleased to reopen our Bridge Scholarship Program for 2024, offering financial assistance to underserved and underrepresented students who need it most.

With Bridge, we are putting our commitment to inclusion, equity and diversity into practice by recognizing and rewarding outstanding students of diverse minorities.

Scholarship Details:

Up to ten scholarships will be available: five at the College/Skilled Trades level and five at the Undergraduate level. These scholarships are valued at $3,000 CAD each. Selected applicants will also have an opportunity to interview for a paid internship or co-op position at CRH Canada.

Only the first 50 applications submitted will be considered.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must:

  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Be planning to enter or already enrolled in full-time studies towards a qualifying first bachelor’s degree, diploma or skilled trades program at an eligible institution
  • Have a minimum cumulative average of 80% for Undergraduate level or 70% for College/Skilled Trades level (or equivalent) over the last three terms of available marks
  • Be eligible to apply for a paid internship or co-op position with CRH Canada
  • Students who have previously won the CRH Canada Bridge Scholarship are eligible to apply however, priority will be given to students who have never won the scholarship.

Application Requirements:
Candidates must submit a completed application, including all supporting documentation, via the Scholarship Partners Canada Portal between April 1st and May 15th at 11:59PM.

To be considered, submissions must include the following:

  • Application form duly completed
  • A maximum 600-word essay OR 5-minute video essay describing the candidate’s educational and career goals
  • A current version of the candidate’s resume
  • A letter of reference
  • Official transcript of academic records
